Information You Choose to Provide
The website may collect information you voluntarily submit, including your name, email address, postal code, neighbourhood, volunteer interests, and messages sent to the campaign. Only information requested by the campaign forms is collected through this website.
How Information Is Used
The Aatish Jamal Campaign may use submitted information to respond to messages, coordinate volunteers, arrange campaign participation, understand issues residents are raising, and send campaign updates where you have separately asked to receive them.
Campaign Email Updates
Email updates are optional. Campaign email subscriptions are managed through Mailchimp. Your email address may be processed by Mailchimp for that purpose, and every campaign email will include a way to unsubscribe.
Website Analytics
The website is prepared to use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate website activity such as visits, pages viewed, traffic sources and general engagement. The campaign will not intentionally send names, email addresses, messages or other form contents to Google Analytics.
Sharing and Sale of Information
The campaign does not sell personal information. Information may be handled by service providers used to operate the website, analytics, forms, and email communications only as needed to provide those services.
Retention and Security
The campaign will take reasonable steps to protect submitted information and retain it only as needed for campaign operations, legal requirements, and record-keeping obligations.
Your Choices
You may ask the campaign to correct or remove information you submitted, or unsubscribe from campaign emails, by contacting info@votejamal.ca.
